Tim Love
One of the most recognizable faces in Fort Worth's culinary scene is headed for Mule Alley to set up his next two concepts in the Fort Worth Stockyards.
Chef Tim Love has executed two leases in the development fronting East Exchange Avenue, Mule Alley announced Thursday. Not much is known about the restaurants themselves, other than that the concepts are expected to open in late 2021 and early 2022.
Love has long had a presence in the Stockyards by way of restaurants and bars like Lonesome Dove Western Bistro, Love Shack Burgers, White Elephant Saloon, and most recently, Atico. He's also behind other Fort Worth restaurants like Gemelle in The River District and The Woodshed, near TCU, along with additional concepts in other cities like Houston and Knoxville.
Love's two newest restaurants will join what's arguably the hottest new development in the Stockyards right now; Mule Alley's newly opened tenants include Chef Marcus Paslay's Provender Hall, The Biscuit Bar, Lucchese Bootmaker, and Cowtown Winery. On March 25, a ribbon cutting ceremony will take place for Mule Alley's anchor tenant, the 200-room Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel Drover.
“Capping off our program with two exclusive restaurant concepts by Tim Love makes Mule Alley and the Fort Worth Stockyards one of the top food and beverage leisure destinations in the state of Texas," said Craig Cavileer, executive vice president of Majestic Realty Co and managing partner of Stockyards Heritage, which manages Mule Alley. "We could not be more excited."
