Fort Worth Burger Week is back and this year, 27 joints are offering greasy goodness for $5, with proceeds going toward Ronald McDonald House Fort Worth.
Now, it's not all burgers on the menu — each spot has a specific burger designated for Burger Week, indicated in the digital passport available on the event's website. The Bearded Lady's offering, for example, is the Big Dill Burger (made with Best Maid Pickle Beer queso and fried pickles); at Carpenter's Cafe & Catering, it's the Mean Green Fouxger (a Beyond Meat patty with green chili and garlic aioli); at Fred's Texas Cafe, it's the Badlands BBQ Burger; and so on.
Posting photos of your burgers to social media — with the appropriate tags and hashtags — also count as entries to daily giveaways like T-shirts and baseball caps, along with a grand prize of a large Big Green Egg grill.
