Don't be tempted to call the new Live! by Loews – Arlington, TX a "boutique" hotel.
Opening soon in the heart of Arlington, it's a full-service, resort-style property located smack-dab in the middle of the action − with the Texas Live! complex mere steps away, and the new Texas Rangers Globe Life Field set to open in 2020 just next door.
A hard-hat tour of the property revealed a 14-story hotel, boasting 300 luxury guest rooms, 23 suites, five unique restaurants and bars, and a ballroom that can accommodate up to 1,000 people.
Progress is moving along rapidly, and the management team, including Managing Director Scott Nasser, are on a tight deadline. They’re vowing to be ready for the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the “sports resort” on Aug. 22.

Most guest rooms come with an outstanding view of the Cowboy's AT&T Stadium. All rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, "affording great natural light and great views," Nasser says.
On the fourteenth floor, you'll find an additional 23 suites on an exclusive private level with enhanced RFID security, and a massive rooftop terrace with views of the entire area. On a clear day, you can see both downtown Fort Worth and Dallas in the distance. The Presidential Suite called "The Commissioner" takes in about 2,100 square feet, including its own private outdoor patio.
Unique for a hotel this size is its banquet capabilities. Live! by Loews – Arlington, TX has maxed out 35,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The main ballroom can be divided into eight separate meeting rooms, each with its own entrance. The space has two dedicated elevators of its own and a panoramic lounge area just beyond for check-ins and break-outs, as well as its own kitchen for banquet service.
The hotel is a joint venture between Loews Hotels & Co. (headquartered in New York City), The Cordish Companies (owners of Texas Live!), and the Texas Rangers. "This partnership is unique to Arlington," Nasser says. "It was purpose-built from the ground up, and Loews will be the owner/operator. While other hotels brands build and sell their product, we plan to own, manage, and maintain this property for years to come."

On the main level near the hotel check-in and concierge desk will be River Market, an organic grab-and-go market featuring Arlington’s own Salter Bros. Coffee, fresh juices, sandwiches, salads, and pastries.
Bar Bourbon will take center stage in the lobby lounge area, with its vast bourbon selection and private bourbon and wine lockers for aging.
The fine dining component will be Cut & Bourbon – a classic steakhouse featuring a variety of cuts, including bone-in ribeyes, all locally sourced from Texas. The menu will also serve fresh seafood and other raised game, and the dining room will seat around 30 people.
Hotel guests will also enjoy a lovely view of AT&T Stadium from the lush outdoor spaces. Called Arlington Clover Club, it has tiers of private cabanas, sitting under a three-story tall covered patio space. With a central outdoor gin bar, it will serve a mix of handcrafted cocktails and both international and classic American cuisine.
Near the green event lawn, you'll find Soak, a poolside bar and lounge serving light bites and signature cocktails. The outdoor infinity pool is connected to the swim-up bar.
