A new Grapevine hotel aims to offer the city an unprecedented wine experience.
Hotel Vin, located just minutes away from the DFW Airport, will be opening in June 2020. The boutique, vino-themed hotel will be part of the Marriott’s Autograph Collection.
The hotel intends to live up to “Vin,” the French word for wine, by providing a unique atmosphere centered around the beverage.
“To be a part of the Autograph collection, the hotel must have its own ‘signature’ – something that makes it stand out. Our signature is wine. The whole experience is based around wine and wine education,” says Tom Santora, chief commercial officer and managing director at Hotel Vin.
The hotel will feature the Bacchus Kitchen + Bar. The restaurant, named after the Roman god of wine, will have an extensive wine list and a locally-sourced cuisine.
In addition, the hotel will connect to Harvest Hall. Harvest Hall is a European-style food hall that will feature a total of seven kitchens and two bars.
Like Hotel Vin, Harvest Hall is still under construction, but with an expected opening date in August. With dining options like Four Sisters, Chick and Biscuit, Arepa TX, and Spuntino, the food hall will feature a wide variety of cuisine.
Hotel Vin and Harvest Hall will be part of the larger Grapevine Main Station structure, which includes a 552-space parking garage and a 38,000-square-foot outdoor plaza. It’s located directly in front of the TEXRail line running from DFW airport to downtown Fort Worth.
According to Mona Quintanilla, public information officer for the city of Grapevine, the TEXRail has been in full operation for about 14 months now, helping transport the more than 500,000 passengers who've ridden over the entire route. And they’re just getting started, Quintanilla says.
Quintanilla hopes TEXRail passengers and visitors will appreciate the convenience of being only minutes away from the shopping, dining, and scenery that Grapevine Main Station and the surrounding Grapevine Historic District provides.
