Michael Crain and Will Northern
The Fort Worth real estate brokers Will Northern and Michael D. Crain said Monday they have reorganized their brokerage as Northern Crain Realty, splitting from partner Ty Williams. The announcement came months after the three merged their businesses into the firm Williams Northern Crain.
Northern and Crain said they will continue to provide a full menu of real estate services across residential, commercial, and property management. Williams, who previously operated his firm as RJ Williams & Co., said in a brief message he will announce shortly the reorganization of his firm using the RJ Williams name.
“Under this reorganization, we will continue to provide premier service to our clients with innovation and attention,” Northern said in a release introducing Northern Crain. “We have had a great year and will continue to build our team as we foster our culture, based on our core values.”
Northern, who founded his brokerage in 2010, will lead the Northern Crain commercial team and work with developers on future projects. Crain will handle operations and expand the firm’s Luxury Living residential brand and property management division. Northern and Crain will be half-owners in the new firm. Crain said the firm expects to open a new headquarters office in Fort Worth’s Near Southside.
“The Northern Crain partnership is a representation of our desire to create a business centered around character, integrity, and professionalism,” said Crain. “We have a team of seasoned and polished agents that exude our culture and foster genuine relationships in the community, all with a desire to provide the most comprehensive service to our clients.”
Northern was named Top Realtor of 2019 by the Greater Fort Worth’s Association of Realtors, and is a recipient of the William C. Jennings Award for outstanding commercial real estate transaction of the year by Texas Realtors. Northern serves on the Public Affairs Committee of the Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth and is chair of Fort Worth’s zoning commission, appointed by Mayor Betsy Price.
Crain, previously an agent with Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International, serves as district director for Fort Worth Councilman Brian Byrd and serves on various non-profit boards in the area, including Foodie Philanthropy, Fort Worth Sister Cities International, The Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival, The Greatest Gift Catalog Ever, and the Texas Lyceum.
Williams began his real estate career at age 18 when he bought his first flip property. He became a broker at a large agency, then went out on his own and founded his own brokerage.
