Fort Worth's healthcare workforce just landed another outlet to ensure they serve in style.
Scrubs & Beyond, said to be the largest healthcare apparel provider in the US, has arrived and opened doors in Fort Worth for the first time. The 3,331-square-foot shop at 4614 SW Loop 820 offers those in healthcare another outlet for medical uniforms, shoes, lab coats, hosiery, and healthcare accessory needs, according to a news release.
It’s even got its own private label, Beyond Scrubs, and sells best-selling brands like Cherokee Uniforms and the new Katie Duke x Cherokee Collection. The six-piece collection was designed in collaboration with Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Katie Duke, with pieces featuring her mantra: “Empowered Women Empower Women.”
“Whether it’s public speaking, hosting nursing travel events or her empowering messages in social media, Katie has millions of adoring fans views,” the release reads. “Katie Duke is one of the most influential female healthcare professionals in the country and is the force behind this first-ever collaborative collection with Cherokee Uniforms.”
Duke will hold a meet-and-greet from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 29, for fans at the new storefront. Tours of the new store, refreshments, and prizes will be available — the first 80 to show score a free gift bag.
Scrubs & Beyond, in order to create more professional environments, also teams up with hospitals like Medical City to be the exclusive provider of uniforms for more than 17,000 employees.
