Tailwind Advisors, a Fort Worth wealth management and investment firm, said Wednesday it’s launching a new division to help its client establish and support long-term philanthropic strategy and that aligns with their financial goals.
Tailwind Philanthropic Advisors will be headed by President Macy Hill, who advises family offices, foundations, and individuals who are seeking to manage and align their philanthropic interests, Tailwind said in a release. Hill has lengthy experience in leading philanthropic investment, family office management, non-profit operations, and public policy advising. She began her career in the corporate world.

Hill is a graduate of Texas Christian University, with Master of Business Administration, Master of Liberal Arts, and Bachelor of Science degrees.
She serves on the Board of Visitors for TCU’s Addran College of Liberal Arts, The Cowtown Marathon, Fort Worth K-Life, and Healing Shepherd Clinic, and is a member of the finance committee for Fort Worth Country Day. She is a past-president of the Fort Worth Delta Gamma Alumni Association, has served in numerous leadership roles for local and state-wide charities. She was appointed in 2013 by Texas Gov. Rick Perry to the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners.
Hill is an active member at Christ Chapel Bible Church, Canwick Club and Jewel Charity Ball benefiting Cook Children's Hospital.
