Waterside, Trademark Property Co.’s 63-acre mixed-use development in Southwest Fort Worth, plans to begin construction in the fourth quarter on a 119-room Marriott Residence Inn hotel.
The hotel will be on three acres that Raymond Management recently purchased on Arborlawn Drive at the south end of Waterside, which fronts Bryant Irvin Road. The hotel is expected to open in 2021, Trademark said Tuesday.
“Our vision for Waterside has always included a hotel component, and we’re proud to deliver on that with this caliber of hotel product and a high-quality owner-operator like Raymond Management,” said Terry Montesi, CEO of Trademark. “Waterside is already a destination enjoyed by many in the Fort Worth community, and now, visitors to the area will also be able to experience what makes this place so special.”
Hotel guests can walk to Waterside’s shops, restaurants and community spaces. Waterside is adjacent to the Trinity River trail.
Named one of the Top 10 Retail Experiences in the nation by Chain Store Age magazine, Waterside’s amenities include outdoor seating in The Grove, free Wi-Fi, play areas, public art, Trinity Trails access and more.
