Get a glimpse of Fort Worth's history by traveling through the quaint Fairmount neighborhood, with turn-of-the-century housing and new construction across a less than a one-square mile area, May 7 - 8.
Personally, one of my favorite activities is driving through Fairmount on a sunny day with my windows down and picturing myself living in one of the houses. Perhaps I'm a little envious of those who live in the neighborhood. It feels so peaceful and friendly every time I drive through. The character of each house is unique, avoiding the cookie-cutter look many neighborhoods fall into. The streets are quaint and quiet while each home has its own personality. These historic homes were made for touring.
