Mr. Forshey is a partner with the firm and has broad experience in insolvency matters. Mr. Forshey has practiced bankruptcy and insolvency law for over 35 years. Both he and the firm have substantial experience in representing debtors, creditors and trustees in work outs, reorganizations and associated litigation.
Mr. Forshey has significant experience in winding down business entities which face financial challenges or in which the owners are in conflict. He has acted as a liquidating trustee to wind up an operating limited partnership in which the owners were in conflict. He has advised numerous business entities or their management in connection with a sale of the business’ assets or winding up of the affairs of the business, both in and outside of bankruptcy. He is accustomed to operating under the supervision of a court and understands the role and responsibilities of a receiver/trustee/debtor-in-possession operating under the auspices of a court having jurisdiction over the assets of the corporate entity.
