Built from leftover aluminum from an old bomber plant when it opened in the ’70s, J&J Oyster Bar has come a long way. It was one of Fort Worth’s first restaurants to serve fresh shucked oysters and has since grown its menu. Customers often drop by for a cold beer and some homemade gumbo, many choosing to sit at the cozy counter and reminisce about the original Oyster Bar.
