Every night for 35 years, Presbyterian Night Shelter has diligently served the local homeless community in a strategic effort to prepare our guests for their successful transition to an independent lifestyle.
As the area's largest provider of homeless services, Presbyterian Night Shelter sees approximately 90% of individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the greater Fort Worth community, operating at 99% capacity each year. For many of our homeless Fort Worth neighbors, the transition to independent living begins in one of our several programs that are designed to assist them in overcoming barriers preventing them from achieving a successful, independent lifestyle beyond the shelter.
Once achieved, the hope is that every guest is able to maintain their independence and continue their successes beyond the shelter. As a low-barrier shelter, all who are in need are welcomed.
