A former warehouse just north of West Seventh Street has transformed into the headquarters of Agency Habitat, and with everyone now settled in, the marketing firm is ready to show off its new home.
Agency Habitat will host a grand opening party Nov. 4 at 2733 Cullen St. — an open house dubbed the "Hab Bash," featuring complementary food and drinks from nearby neighbor Fort Brewery, as well as live music by DJ Sober. The event is open to the public, and attendees are invited explore the agency's space, decked out with high-tech elements, modern finishes, and amenities like a restaurant-sized bar, game loft, and more. The space also includes an on-site, full-service audio/video production facility, Lowtown Studios — a separate enterprise by Agency Habitat's president and CEO Neil Foster.
“We wanted to build a place where people could enjoy working together,” Foster said in a statement. “I never understood the traditional agency model of people moving up and moving into offices, effectively separating themselves from their team and cutting off the chance for communication and collaboration. Nobody at Agency Habitat has an office; nobody has an assigned seat. We encourage everyone to come in and sit with whom they need to in order to get their job done that day — and that might be different every day.”
