Globe Life Field
Less than a week after Globe Life Field announced it will host one of the biggest events in rodeo, MLB announced that the newly opened stadium will also host the biggest event in baseball — the 116th World Series.
Globe Life Field becomes the first neutral site for the series in modern history, with Game One set for Oct. 20 and a potential Game Seven set for Oct. 28.
Leading up to the World Series, the MLB postseason will begin Sept. 29 with the AL Wild Card Series taking place at the regular season home ballparks of each league's top four seeds.
Then, the Division Series will take place at four neutral sites, "due to health, safety, and competitive considerations," according to a news release. San Diego’s Petco Park and Los Angeles' Dodger Stadium will host the American League Division Series, while Houston’s Minute Maid Park and Globe Life Field will host the National League Division Series.
San Diego will then host the American League Championship Series and Arlington, the National League Championship Series.
