Fort Worth entrepreneur and all-around-cool-dude Jonathan Morris is well on his way to becoming a TV star, and the first episode of his new Magnolia Network show, "Self Employed," is now streaming.
Viewers can watch the episode via Discovery Plus, which currently includes a preview of Magnolia Network — the upcoming channel run by home renovation and lifestyle superstars Chip and Joanna Gaines. You would have to sign up for a subscription — it costs between $4.99 (with ads) and $6.99 (without ads) per month — but the service also comes with a seven-day free trial. Magnolia Network's full launch is expected later this year.
"Self Employed," hosted by Morris, will showcase various entrepreneurs throughout Fort Worth and the rest of the U.S. Morris himself draws from his own experiences in entrepreneurship — locally, he's known for starting Fort Worth Barber Shop and a boutique hotel, Hotel Dryce, currently under construction in Fort Worth's Cultural District.
A few familiar local faces that appear on the show's trailer include Kari Crowe of MELT Ice Creams, Mia Moss of Black Coffee, and Sarah Castillo of Taco Heads and Tinie's. Check it out below.
