With the police chief search narrowed down to six candidates, the City of Fort Worth is giving residents the opportunity to interact with the finalists at a community meeting.
The meeting will take place Jan. 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Fort Worth Convention Center Ballroom (1201 Houston St.). According to the city, there will be plenty of room for social distancing, with COVID-19 protocols in place. The city will also broadcast the meeting live on its website, social media, and TV channel, FWTV.
Residents may submit comments for city management and questions for candidates via FWConnection until Jan. 9.
The six finalists are Wendy Baimbridge of Houston, Troy Gay of Austin, Christopher C. Jones of Las Vegas, Derick D. Miller of Carrollton, and Neil Noakes and Julie A. Swearingin (both from Fort Worth).
