Panther Island Ice
Panther Island Ice announced on social media in early October that it would not return for the 2022-23 season, but it remains unclear if they meant indefinitely.
A message on its website — accompanied with a "best-of-all-times gallery" — thanks "everyone who came out to skate with us over the past nine seasons."
Since its 2013 launch, thousands would visit the Panther Island Pavilion each winter, where the large ice skating rink took over between Thanksgiving and late January.
"Many thanks to all sponsors over the years for the continued support in making the rink possible," Panther Island Ice wrote on its website. "We are proud that we made skating rinks in Fort Worth a popular winter tradition."
