5 reasons to make Birdie’s Social Club your go-to patio destination this Fall.
Fort Worth’s Montgomery Plaza and Linwood district have just welcomed a new neighbor at 2736 W 6th Street—Birdie’s Social Club. As the weather starts to cool and football games are in full gear, it's finally patio weather here in the Fort. The crew at Birdie's Social Club narrowed down five reasons to make Birdie’s Social Club your go-to patio destination this Fall.
1. The Atmosphere
The slogan emblazoned on t-shirts and signage, "no tee times, just good times", is about as cheeky as the space itself. The retro, Palm Springs-inspired venue boasts an expansive patio with multiple decks, a state-of-the-art outdoor stage, panoramic desert-scape murals, surrealist artwork, and more. Picnic tables, barrel tables, and lounge seating provide countless ways to relax and enjoy your time after being greeted by the staff with a signature Birdie’s smile.
2. Cold Drinks
Whether you’re looking for refreshments by the glass, the bucket, or the pitcher, Birdie’s has something for everyone. The craft cocktail list spotlights seasonal ingredients and boasts the Baptized in Your Name—a twist on the old-fashioned with hickory smoke and maple, and the Call Me Daly—a spiked Arnold Palmer with pink lemonade and house-made peach tea (available by the pitcher!), among others. Alongside the 30+ bottle & draught beer options available by the pitcher and bucket, a curated list of patio-friendly wines round out the menu.

3. Live Music
The lively, colorful atmosphere and specialty cocktails are reason enough to visit, but the jam-packed events calendar is what promises to make this patio a go-to destination for all ages. Weekend evenings are currently a mix of local acoustic artists as well as full bands. Keep an eye on the concert calendar at BirdiesSocialClub.com for concert updates.
4. Good Eats
The recently released food menu showcases all the classics. Staples include the classic smashburger, grilled chicken sandwich on Texas Toast bun, patty melt, and more. Not to be missed are the appetizers and fries - with shareable nachos, garlic parmesan fries, and more. And the kitchen opens early and stays open late on the weekends.
5. Good Times
While the Birdie’s stage and patio are perfect for live music, they also provide an excellent destination for game day watch parties and private events. Multiple private patios are perfect for groups of all sizes and may be reserved for parties from 15-200 attendees or more. Ethel’s Deck features a prime stage view and a private bar, while the Pro Shop Deck offers a more private space under wraparound murals and the Texas stars. The newest addition to the expansive Birdie’s space, The Clubhouse, can be booked for a completely private experience in one of Fort Worth’s historic music venues with an upscale, cigar-lounge feel.
