1. Oktoberfest at Trinity Park
Celebrate the annual fall German fest at Trinity Park, Sept. 22 – 24, with authentic German beer, food, polka, and much more. A single-day ticket ranges from $10 to $15 and three-day passes go for $20. With every ticket, you’ll get a complimentary stein.

2. Cirque du Soleil
The circus is in town. Or, rather, Cirque du Soleil is in town — the world-renowned acrobatic team touring their new show, “OVO”, Sept. 22 – 24. The production, which will take place at Dickies Arena, will examine the world of insects through the company’s trademark use of acrobatics that test the physical limits of its performers.

3. Botanic Iris Sale
The Fort Worth Iris Society hosts the annual Iris Sale at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. As the name suggests, the fair, which is free to attend, will offer gardeners a plethora of irises to purchase. Irises include over 300 species of flowering plants. The Daylily Society will simultaneously be holding a plant sale.

4. The Breakfast Club at the Isis
Whether you’re a basketcase, princess, or athlete, the 80’s classic “The Breakfast Club” hits all the right notes. The universally rewatchable flick will be showing at Downtown Cowtown at the Isis this Friday, Sept. 23, at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and only require one fist bump into the air.

5. Harry Potter Movie Series Event
Calling all Potterheads and Muggles, Coyote Drive-In has announced the official Harry Potter Movie Series Event. The popular drive-in will play one movie the entire week from the magical series every week for the next seven weeks — the theater showed the “Sorcerer’s Stone” Last week they started with Sorcerer’s Stone. Costumes are strongly encouraged, and platform tickets are only $5.

6. Latin American Walking Parade & Festival
The first ¡Celebramos! Latin American Walking Parade and Festival will take place at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden this Saturday, Sept. 24, as part of the city’s month-long celebration of Hispanic and Latinx heritage. While this marks the parade’s first year, the gardens hope it will grow into an annual event that will give the community opportunities to learn about andcelebrate, Hispanic and Latin American culture. The parade will kick things off at 5:30p.m., and entertainment, food, and fun from 6 – 8 p.m. Tickets are $15.

7. Drake Milligan at Billy Bob’s
The Elvis look-alike returns to Cowtown this Friday, Sept. 23, with a 10:00 p.m. set at Billy Bob’s. Milligan, who has Fort Worth roots but now makes his home in Nashville, made headlines earlier this year with his suave demeanor and uncanny resemblance to Elvis Presley. If even Simon Cowell gave a seal of approval, you know this show will be good.
