Seth James
Though born in Fort Worth, Seth James was raised in the ranch country of West Texas, and could often be seen perched on the saddle over a horse.
This Fort Worth native isn’t one to shy away from mixing in elements from plenty of genres into his music. Singer and songwriter Seth James does just that in his latest work, and Fort Worthians have the chance to hear him themselves.
James makes his way into Fort Worth Aug. 30 at Shipping And Receiving Bar. Doors open at 7 p.m. with the show starting at 8 p.m.

His grandfather was known for his country piano playing, doing shows as Tooter Boatman and the Chaparrals in the ‘40s and ‘50s. James’ father, Tom Moorhouse, is the founder of the Moorhouse Ranch.
In Good Life, country meets blues and rock in a comprehensive medley. The 12-song album drops on Cherry Bomb Records Aug. 23.
