Fortress Festival isn't the only music event coming to Fort Worth this season.
Index Fest released the music lineup Friday for its Fort Worth festival taking place June 3.
Dawes will headline the event, which also includes husband and wife folk/blues duo Johnnyswim; Austin-based country/soul group Shinyribs; Dallas' DJ Sober; and Fort Worth rock band Oil Boom.
Dawes, a Los Angeles-based folk rock band, will perform in support of their most recent and highly acclaimed album, We're All Gonna Die, which was released in September 2016. This is their fifth album to date.
Index Fest is a rebranded version of Untapped, a Texas craft beer and music festival. This year's Index Fest will continue to include beer, music, food and art.
The event will be held at Panther Island Pavilion. Tickets are on sale now. The Fort Worth brewery lineup will be announced in the coming weeks.
