Fort Worth Public Library Reveals Most-Checked-Out Books of 2020

Whether it be due to the COVID-19 lockdowns or just an innate desire to get lost in a story, Fort Worthians read quite a bit this year. 

More than 2.7 million items were checked out across books, e-books, audiobooks, movies, and more in 2020, according to the Fort Worth Public Library. The library also saw a 33 percent increase over 2019 in e-book and audiobook check outs. 

So which books did Fort Worthians read the most this year? Here are the Fort Worth Public Library's top 10 check-outs in adult fiction, adult non-fiction, teen fiction, and picture books. 

Top 10 Adult Fiction Books:
