Fort Worth Stockyards
Celebrating the Fourth of July at the Stockyards
With fireworks, music, and more, here's what's happening in Fort Worth this Fourth of July weekend.
Panther Island Pavilion – Fort Worth’s Fourth
It’s time to get the tubes out and salute the founding of our nation the best way we Fort Worthians know how — with festival food, drinks, a Texas-sized firework display, and live music to boot. You can find all these happenings along the banks of the Trinity at Panther Island Pavilion, which, for the 15th year, is playing host to Fort Worth’s Fourth.

Fort Worth Botanic Garden – Concerts in the Garden
It may be ironic, but leading up to Independence Day, the Fort Worth Symphony is getting its repertoire of English musicians out of the way; they’ll be performing tributes to Queen and the Rolling Stones, respectively. Regardless, on our nation’s birthday, one of the best symphonies in the nation will perform patriotic numbers to an audience of picnicking families. Singer Angela Turner Wilson joins the festive lineup, and attendees can enjoy a firework display at the end of the concert.

Eagle Mountain Lake Fireworks
Knowledgeable locals should be aware that the best spot for checking out fireworks is around Eagle Mountain Lake. Although the best areas are exclusive to those with water access, you can still enjoy them from afar. The Lakeview Marina hosts their annual evening firework display on Sunday, July 3.
Red, White, & Boots Stockyards July 4th Celebration
How does one celebrate the Fourth of July in true Cowtown fashion? At the Stockyard’s Red, White, and Boots celebration, of course. The weekend will feature live music, Old West gunfight shows, face painting, food trucks, a beer garden, and more.
