Theatregoers can pay as little as $5 to see Critically Acclaimed Show Dog Days on April 28 and 29.
FWOpera, known for its efforts to bring opera to a new audience, today announces that for the first-time-ever, opera goers can “Pay What You Can” to attend their choice of two performances of the regional premiere of Dog Days. Called “one of the most exciting new opera in recent years” by The Wall Street Journal, Fort Worth Opera General Director Darren K. Woods has rolled out the limited time initiative to help break down the price barrier that often keeps potential patrons from taking the step into the concert hall. Woods states, “Fort Worth Opera has made it our mission to challenge audiences by bringing new and captivating stories to life on the stage. The regional premiere of Dog Days is a production that audiences in North Texas might never have the opportunity to see again. We want to make this innovative and revolutionary opera available to all theatre lovers in experiencing opera for the first time.” Contact the Fort Worth Opera to learn more. 817.731.0726
