Keen to relive those glory days, serve up some good and sip on a margarita all at the same time? Fort Worth nonprofit IREF2 will be supporting local high school athletes this Saturday at its Your Serve Sand Volleyball Scholarship Tournament. The tournament — sponsored by Fort Worth Magazine, Game On Sports Complex and 92.1 Hank FM — runs from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Game On, 2600 Alemeda St. That also includes an exhibition game at noon.
Mayor Betsy Price will make an appearance herself to serve up a scholarship to the Fort Worth ISD Athletic Department.
There’s a $10 entry fee. For more information, the event contact the co-hosts Becky Ramirez with IREF2 at 817-301-5692 or Andy Moore at 817-812-6786.
