Fort Worth Botanic Garden
Families won’t have to miss out on this Fort Worth holiday tradition — just get used to some changes.
Holiday in the Garden is back for its second year on Dec. 12 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and Botanical Research Institute of Texas.
The indoor/outdoor event includes a holiday artisan market with live music and food trucks, as well as a socially distanced photo-op with Santa. After that, sip on some holiday-inspired tea and stroll around the garden and the new Christmas tree farm. There will also be a live performance by the Fort Worth Opera.
“We encourage the Fort Worth community to get into the holiday spirit this season, and what better place to do that than surrounded by a beautiful garden campus?” vice president for horticulture and assistant director Bob Byers said in a statement.
Byers said Holiday in the Garden will abide by COVID-19 protocols outlined by Tarrant County Health Department — this means temperature checks upon entry, mask enforcement, social distancing, and sanitizing stations located all over the facility.
