Sometimes artists think it is necessary to travel abroad to find worthy subject matter for paintings, and I do enjoy that, but our hometown is also filled with great subjects. I've lived and painted here for several years now and realize Fort Worth has enough subject matter to last a lifetime.
I want my paintings to be a celebration of our city's people, culture and landscapes. In the coming weeks I plan to share photos and videos of some of the things I'm painting around town. You're invited to join me on this journey to find the beauty in our own back yard.
