Live performances are slowly beginning to revamp around Fort Worth, and this weekend, Panther Island Pavilion is hosting a music festival that celebrates the sounds of country and blues.
The pavilion is hosting its River & Blues Festival on Friday and Saturday, and a few tickets are still available via the event's website. Performers include Charley Crockett, Bart Crow, Casey James, Southern Avenue, and more.
There's also plenty of food, including food trucks and special menus crafted by Magdalena’s, Heim Barbecue, and Vestals, for VIP and Platinum ticket holders.
The event will be enforcing several safety protocols in light of the pandemic. For example, the general admission area will be divided into 10-by-10 pods, each having a limited capacity of 10 people, that will be filled daily on a first-come, first-served basis. Masks are required the entire time, and all guests must pass a temperature check before entry.
“This is set to be a fantastic event,” festival co-founder Jennifer Ellison said in a statement. “Not only are we bringing some of the best country and blues artists to Fort Worth, but we are excited to be working with some of Fort Worth’s best chefs to create a unique and fun festival experience for our guests.”
