The Lone Star Film Festival, the annual Fort Worth fest for local movie buffs and aspiring filmmakers, awarded the annual Larry McMurtry Award to Taylor Sheridan at a Friday night gala, Nov. 11.
The gala, which took place at Hotel Drover in the Stockyards, took place in the middle of the Lone Star Film Festival, which includes an impressive slate of shorts, full-length features, and documentaries that compete for prizes. It's Fort Worth's Sundance, so to speak.
The gala also honored two other "Yellowstone" stars, Ryan Bingham and Lamonica Garrett. The trio, along with "1883" star Eric Nelson, also attended the season 5 premier of "Yellowstone" Sunday, Nov. 13.
