With Neiman Marcus anchoring the retail end of The Shops at Clearfork, the development now has an anchor tenant for the entertainment side.
Developers Simon and Cassco Development Co. announced Wednesday that AMC Theatres will join the 500,000 square-foot center located in southwest Fort Worth off Chisholm Trail Parkway. The theater will span 36,000 square feet and have eight screens, more than 800 luxury recliners, a MacGuffins Bar and Lounge, and an outdoor patio. The design also features a glass-enclosed lobby.
“Through AMC's greater comfort and convenience, enhanced food and drinks, and the best in sight and sound presentation, we're excited to deliver the best movie-going experience in the country to our guests as the entertainment anchor at The Shops at Clearfork,” Mark McDonald, AMC executive vice president of development, said in a statement.
AMC joins Neiman Marcus, which opened a two-story, 90,000-square-foot store on Feb. 10. The Shops at Clearfork is expected to have more than 100 luxury retailers, along with restaurant and entertainment tenants, by the fall.
