Between the Blue Angels and Red Steagall coming to town, there's a lot of excitement rolling into the Fort all in the same three-day span. If you need help wrapping your head around it all — and planning your calendar — here's a quick sum-up of the four biggest events happening now through Sunday.
Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival, Friday – Sunday
After COVID-19 sidelined one of Fort Worth's signature foodie festivals in 2020, Fort Worth Food + Wine returns for a "Fall Edition" at Clearfork Heart of the Ranch. Three events will take place throughout the weekend — "Taco. Beer. Repeat." on Friday, "Gameday Gourmet" on Saturday, and "Bluegrass Brunch" on Sunday — with chefs like Jon Bonnell, Juan Rodriguez, and Molly McCook whipping up inventive dishes to pair with drinks and live music.
A few tickets are still available. More information is available here.
Red Steagall Cowboy Gathering and Western Swing Festival, Friday – Sunday
Celebrating its 30th year, one of the biggest cowboy gatherings in the U.S. is taking place at the Fort Worth Stockyards, featuring daily performances by Western swing musician and poet Red Steagall, rodeo events, chuckwagon cook-offs, and more.

Bell Fort Worth Alliance Air Show, Saturday – Sunday
Taking on a hybrid model this year — guests can watch the show drive-in-style from their vehicles and also roam the exhibit grounds at Fort Worth Alliance Airport — the annual military aviation showcase will feature the U.S. Navy Blue Angels as the squadron celebrates its 75th anniversary. Along with the flyover, attendees can also enjoy performances by the All Veteran Parachute Team, the U.S. Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt, and more.
Tickets must be purchased in advance online, as no tickets will be sold onsite. More information is available here.
Fort Worth Coffee Festival, Saturday
The inaugural Fort Worth Coffee Festival will take place at General Worth Square, offering coffee tastings, barbecue, live performances, and other activities — all for free, though attendees are encouraged to donate to the Inner-City Coffee Exchange, a new nonprofit that aims to improve the livelihoods of economically disadvantaged neighborhoods in 76104.
