Paul Dorman not only hosted the Jewel Charity Men's Chance Ticket Event at his midcentury modern mansion, but generously underwrote the entire evening so that all proceeds from chance ticket sales could be part of Jewel Charity's gift to Cook Children's. The well-known home is in the middle of an extensive restoration, so event chairs Brad Alford (also Dorman's designer), Susie Finley and Judy Miller, along with Dorman's liaison extraordinaire, Doug Cook, played on the construction theme with models wearing gem encrusted hard hats. Guests also enjoyed cocktails and mouthwatering meats Perini Ranch charcoal broiled below the back terrace. The extra lucky ones went home with great door prizes donated by Eiseman Jewels, JetBlue Airways, Neiman Marcus, Morris Kaye & Sons Furs and Park Place Motorcars.
