Cherry
Whether you just don't have time to get your nails done or still feel uneasy about going to the salon during the pandemic, a new app expanding services to Fort Worth is bringing manicures and pedicures straight to you.
The app, called Cherry, lets clients book classic, gel, and dip manicure and pedicure services with certified nail technicians, who can come to the customer in as little as two hours. Co-founded by Amber Venz Box (also of rewardStyle, the LIKEtoKNOW.it shopping app, and The Local Chapter Big Bend), Cherry got its start in Texas and currently services the Dallas, Houston, and Austin areas.
Cherry also dubs itself a "social impact company," providing techs with the ability to work on their own terms, while United Way of Metropolitan Dallas serves as an investor and impact advisor.
“As a working mom, I don’t have time after work or on the weekends to break away from my family to get my nails done. With Cherry, I get manicures and pedicures at home, during conference calls, and I’m thrilled for women in Fort Worth to have access to the convenience that has so helped me to have a career, a family, and a manicure," Box said in a statement.
The Cherry app is available on the iTunes store and can be booked for birthday parties and events by emailing [email protected].
