Parts Unknown, a travel and adventure-themed clothing retailer, is scheduled to open this spring in Sundance Square.
With more than 5,800 square feet of space, the retailer will offer contemporary, outdoor and Western fashion in name brands such as Tommy Bahama, Ugg, Lucchese and many more.
The retailer will occupy the former M.L. Leddy's location at 410 Houston Street. In operation since 1922, the well-known boot and saddle maker closed its Sundance Square location last December in order to consolidate inventory at its Stockyards location.
Bob Swink, vice president of Parts Unknown, said he recognizes Leddy's success with certain brands and will continue to sell a portion of these brands at Parts Unknown.
The store in Sundance Square will be Parts Unknown's eighth location. The retailer already has stores in places like Fredericksburg, Texas; Eureka Springs, Ark.; and Carmel, Calif.
Parts Unknown will be the newest addition to the independently owned retailers in Sundance Square.
“We continue to develop great relationships with both national and local retailers and are bringing them into a very positive environment in Sundance Square,” Johnny Campbell, president and CEO of Sundance Square, said in a statement.
