The Perfect Bachelorette Party
While digging through my archives yesterday afternoon I came across this event I did around 5 years ago. It was the perfect bachelorette dinner party for one of my very dearest childhood friends.
The table was set for 16 guest, candles lit, pomegranate champagne cocktails ready for toasting, salad for the first course and 100 balloons garnishing the ceiling.
I did all of the flowers for this special evening. I have an obsession with doing my own arrangements provided there is time AND there's a budget (easier with other hosts involved).
Hard to see in this picture, but the napkins had penis candy necklaces and blinky wedding rings for the guests to wear. It WAS a bachelorette party after all. This group, including myself, really wasn't the type to hit the town with a bride-to-be wearing a condom veil AND bar hopping strip joints! This was a tasteful but fun occasion.
I'm sure your wondering about entertainment, because what's a bachelorette party without the usual shenanigans? I couldn't stand the thought of some sleaze bag showing up to my home and baring it all, so we had a dirty balloon artist who could make just about anything...with his clothes on. It was a riot! I think he is making some sort of a sperm tiara in this picture.
Even the dog got in on the fun, although I'm not quite sure what Scout is wearing in this picture. Pretty tame compared to what the rest of us were parading around the house! I've never seen or experience such crazy balloon creations in my life!
Wish I could show you more but I would get an earful from the parental units and I would hate to be fired for crossing the line!
