“Hamilton,” the story of America's Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, arrives at Bass Performance Hall next year, with performances from June 9 to 28.
The renown musical tells the story of an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War. It features a score combining hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway. The book, music and lyrics are by Lin-Manuel Miranda, who drew inspiration for the musical from Ron Chernow’s biography of Hamilton.
Single tickets for "Hamilton" are up for grabs to the public at 7 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, Performing Arts Fort Worth announced Thursday. They’re available at basshall.com and in person at the Bass Performance Hall Box Office, 525 Commerce St.—no phone sales.
Wristbands will be required to purchase tickets in person, which will be distributed at the Bass Performance Hall Box Office from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14.
Nine tickets per household is the ticket-sale limit. Prices will range from $69 to $189 with a select number of $399 premium seats available for all performances. Prices do not include ticket surcharges and fees. There will be a lottery for 40 $10 seats for all performances, and details will be announced at a later date.
