DFW Restaurant Week is kicking off its 25th anniversary, which started with a preview Aug. 4, and is running through Sept. 4.
The preview weekend will run Aug. 4 – 7 before all diner dashers can feast on the full event, Aug. 8 – Sept. 4. We know that is more than a week, but is anyone really complaining?
Restaurant Week has become a culinary event tradition in North Texas and holds the title of North Texas’ largest culinary event, and the nation’s second-longest-running restaurant week campaign. Throughout the culinary event, foodies can devour some outstanding grub at restaurants in the area, or discover new tastes in the town.
Twenty-three of North Texas’ best restaurants will participate in the event with 20% of each meal's proceeds being donated to Lena Pope. This nonprofit organization serves local children and families. In the past, DFW Restaurant Week has helped raise about $11 million through its event, raising $1 million in 2019 alone.
This year, DFW Restaurant Week includes a new weekend brunch and signature experience dinners. Other options include dinner, lunch, takeout, and signature experience dinners.
Reservations can be made on OpenTable or through restaurants directly. Check out the full list of restaurants here. Make sure to mention “DFW Restaurant Week” so that the donations are confirmed.
