Our very own Flying Saucer in Fort Worth is hosting a string of celebratory activities to commemorate 20 years of its legacy as a pioneer in the craft beer scene. A live screening of the toast and countdown will be displayed at the 16 Flying Saucer locations, stretching from Texas to South Carolina. The countdown and festivities begin Friday, June 5 at 7:00 p.m. in Sundance Square.

The “Toast Around the ‘Universe' ” will kick off with general manager of Fort Worth's Flying Saucer, Marc Castaldo, leading a toast to the countdown along with special guests. In an effort to honor one of the first tapped beers at Flying Saucer, each of the 16 locations will toast with a Sierra Nevada brew.

An all-day blowout of complimentary appetizers, live music and more will begin Sunday, June 7 at 12:00 p.m. Guests can indulge in a wide range of limited and rare draughts from some of the best breweries around the world. Live music tips off at 3:00 p.m. with Austin-based Black Joe Lewis, and Clear Plastic Masks at 8:00 p.m. Tickets in advance are $17 and $20 at the door.

To top off the range of festivities, Fort Worth's KXT 91.7-FM is showcasing a “20 Year Anniversary Music Series.” From June 7-June 25, artists including Black Joe Lewis, Wild Party and The Bright Light Social Hour will be featured.
