A popular Dallas pie shop is looking to expand westward.
This Thursday, Emporium Pies is scheduled to present design plans to the Downtown Design Review Board, for a potential location at 316 Main St. — the former space of the now-closed Texas Rangers Team Shop in Sundance Square.
Emporium Pies got its start in 2011 and now has two locations in Dallas and one in McKinney. While the company is eyeing Sundance Square for its fourth shop, according to co-owner Megan Wilkes, Emporium Pies is currently running feasibility studies on a couple of potential locations in Fort Worth, and nothing is finalized just yet.

Update: The Downtown Design Review Board approved the project's design Thursday, allowing it to proceed while Emporium Pies works with city staff to adjust various design elements.
