Flix Brewhouse Opens Its Tenth Locale in Mansfield

This list is just part of what the new Flix Brewhouse in Mansfield offers film buffs, beer aficionados, and local foodies alike. 

Don't forget the comfortable seating, either.

This new spot, located at 416 U.S. 287 Frontage Rd, marks the tenth Flix Brewhouse in the franchise's repertoire since its inception in 2011. This new 38,000-square-foot theater and brewpub, which boasts state-of-the-art amenities will be open to the public on Thursday, September 28 from 4:30 – 6:30 pm, for a “You Had Us at Hello” First Pour celebration with bites, brews and souvenirs. This opening was chosen to coincide with the release of "PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie", which will be playing on several of this new franchise's nine auditoriums, according to a release.

Founded in Round Rock, Texas, this cinema/brewery is the only one of its kind in the world. Flix combines the latest Hollywood productions, award-winning, brewed on-premises craft beer, and delicious food — all served "in theater" to guests in their luxury dining recliners. The genesis of the Flix concept stems directly from consumer demand for a better, more value-oriented way to watch a movie.

What makes this new spot a bit better is the availability of a Flix Brewhouse first — call buttons. For the first time in company history, Mansfield guests can order their meal directly from their phone right to their luxury dining recliner.

This new location also features a full bar and a fully functioning brewery where a team of brewers craft specialty beers unique to the area and the featured films. Additionally, Flix's four-core award-winning beers are always on tap. Click here to read the menu.

Along with the latest movie releases, patrons can join the Flix Picks program, which curates specialty monthly 'FanFests' around cult classic movies paired with a themed menu and souvenir glassware. Each Flix location also features a small taproom area where guests can enjoy a brew before or after a movie and play movie-themed pinball.
