Things haven't fared well for the restaurants that tried their hand at business on 1264 W. Magnolia Ave., despite its stylish outdoor patio and set of two buildings that have made their rounds on Instagram. The past two years have seen the shuttering of Spain-inspired La Zona and bar/restaurant Southside Rambler.
But perhaps this time around, a new restaurant will stick — Maggie's R&R is moving in, this time bringing a Southern-inspired concept to the space. The restaurant will serve burgers, steaks, seafood dishes, and desserts, along with whiskey and craft beer. Maggie's R&R is owned by Dave Garner, owner of Wildwood Grill in Southlake and Garland, and Christopher Gainey, former vice president of operations at BoomerJacks Grill & Bar.
According to CultureMap Fort Worth, the restaurant also plans to add a stage for live music. Maggie's R&R is expected to open Oct. 21.
