Graham Elliot
If the culinary arts dominate your small screen, there's little doubt you've heard the name Graham Elliot. Well, the celebrity chef is officially joining the the restaurant teams at Felipe Armenta's Pacific Table and Tavern Bar & Grill.
Having appeared as a celebrity chef and guest judge on networks like Bravo and Food Network, Elliot will bring a unique pedigree to Armenta's restaurant. Elliot has also worked on Master Chef USA alongside Chef Gordon Ramsay, Family Food Fight, and Top Chef All-Stars.
According to a Star-Telegram piece by Bud Kennedy, Elliot's Texas homecoming — he worked in the state when he was younger — had long been in the works.
“I feel like once you’ve been in Texas, it’s always in your blood calling you home,” Elliot told Kennedy.
Having also recently opened Maria's the Towne Bar and Grille, Armenta, in the same Kennedy article, said his company is "getting pretty big, and we need somebody at his level to help us diversify."
Armenta has other surprises in the works, too. According to the same piece by Mr. Kennedy, Armenta intends to expand his culinary offerings by opening 10 other restaurant brands in Texas.
Armenta's eventual plan is to expand into French and Italian restaurants, and the team is hoping to add a prime steakhouse in Fort Worth soon.
Trip Advisor named Pacific Table restaurant 'The Best of Dallas Fort Worth.' Felipe Armenta mixes contemporary Pacific Northwest cuisine prepared using classic cooking methods. True to its name, Pacific Table serves up oysters, traditional sushi, seafood, grilled steaks, oven-roasted chicken, sandwiches, and salads, transporting the diner to a quaint fishery on the Puget Sound. The kitchen is open for lunch and dinner daily and brunches on the weekend.
