One nationwide chain will soon enter the fray in the ever-expanding West Seventh bar scene.
Punch Bowl Social has 17 locations currently open, including Austin and Dallas, and No. 18 will be in Fort Worth on Foch Street.
"The Fort Worth location will open late this month, marking the eighteenth Punch Bowl Social store," says Tanner Culbertson, with MCA Public Relations. The Dallas location just opened this past weekend, which was No. 17 for the brand.
The concept entices with some well-deserved playtime − including private karaoke rooms, bowling, and a myriad of gaming options. Old-school games like foosball, billiards, and vintage, coin-operated arcades up the cool factor alongside modern gaming, like virtual reality. One of the companies mantras includes, "Winning at adulting."
The food and beverage menu makes Punch Bowl a cut above many other area bars. This hangout comes with well-rounded drink menu, sans the low-hanging fruit (no jello-shots), and it even includes a few unexpected categories, especially for the designated driver.
Two drink sections offer non-alcoholic drinks: Built and Mixed Without and From the Juicer. From the Juicer is one for the health-conscious reveler, and the thoroughly modern sodas and fizzies sections offer a variety of flavored waters and sodas. But, for those who choose to throw caution to the wind, there is a selection of punches to choose from as well.
There are the bar-food staples like guacamole, quesadillas, and buffalo wings, but the menu doesn't end there. Killer salads include the Superfood Grain Bowl. Sample some cocoa-dusted carnita tacos. Indulge in a shrimp burger--all kinds of tasty ways to win at adulting.
Punch Bowl Social opens in Fort Worth on Saturday, July 27, with a grand opening party.
