Ordering off-the-menu at Riscky's BBQ has been a thing for decades, but now the Fort Worth barbecue mini-chain is leaning into the concept, launching an official secret menu with a particular focus on brisket.
With the menu being, well, a secret, Riscky's is obviously not saying much about the offerings, aside from blurred-out photos that show something in a skillet, something with fries, and something else with what appears to be salsa and sour cream. The restaurant is directing curious customers to its social media pages for clues — or just visit the restaurant and ask the server for details.
According to Riscky's, the purpose of its secret menu is to "adapt and attract new younger audiences, while paying tribute to loyal Riscky’s customers who’ve been ordering off-the-menu for decades."
Alongside the secret menu, Riscky's is also launching online ordering and family meal packs that feed six to eight people. More information is at risckys.com.
