Rusty Taco, also known as R Taco, is coming to Fort Worth..twofold.
Restaurant development group Greenbriar Restaurant Holdings announced Wednesday that the fast-casual taco concept will open two Fort Worth locations. One will be at 3516 Bluebonnet Circle (the former Pesago Mexican Diner location), expected to open May 15. The other will be at 3206 Winthrop Ave. in Ridglea Village, expected to open in late May or early June.
Rusty Taco is known for its street-style tacos with fillings like brisket, fish, fried chicken and fajita meat. Breakfast tacos, with fillings that include chorizo and jalepeno sausage, are served all day. All tacos will cost $2.50 or under.
The restaurant will also offer beer and its signature margaritas, made with "cheap tequila and fresh lime juice."
Both restaurants will be open seven days a week, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Rusty Taco also plans to open another location in Hurst.
