Shooting with the Chefs
What’s the next best thing to getting secret recipes from your favorite local chef? Well, skeet shooting with your favorite local chef, naturally. Next Sunday, Oct. 16, you’ll have the opportunity to do just that.
The Fort Worth Food + Wine Foundation is partnering with celebrity chefs, restaurateurs, and brew masters to bring the unique, first-of-its-kind Shooting with the Chefs at Defender Outdoor Clay Sports Ranch. Participants can grab three of their buddies to form a four-person shooting team — which can include two students (grades 6 – 12) and two adults or four adults. Teams will get to shoot with a different guest shooter — a local celebrity chef, restaurateurs, or brew master — at various stations.
Proceeds from the event will go toward local grant programs and culinary scholarships. The event will take place on Oct. 16 at 9 a.m. at Defender Outdoor Clay Sports Ranch at 8270 Aledo Road.
