What does beauty mean to you? For the most part, beauty is not a physical trait, but how someone is on the inside that shapes their perception. To me, beauty is defined by having a good heart. It means being kind, generous, thoughtful and giving something you have to benefit others (whether it's time, advice, entertainment, money or all of the above). It also means sharing and helping others without seeking glory or recognition, just doing it because it simply makes others happy.
What children's movie character did you always want to be? This might have been more of an adult show, but I watched it as a kid and always wanted (still do!) to be Wonder Woman. She had it all! Smart, beautiful, worked for the CIA, was a superhero, always saved the day, admired by all, even had a great wardrobe (at the time).
What is your favorite thing about Fort Worth? Our network of family and friends grounded in Fort Worth is my favorite thing. I love being surrounded by those I love and have known for so long. I think it's so unique to be in a place where our kids are growing up alongside kids who's parents I've known since college and my husband has known since elementary school. That long established community is only here - and it's my favorite thing about Fort Worth.
What do you consider your best feature or characteristic? The very first thing people notice about me is my height (I'm just over 5'10"). Growing up, it was something I always hated and shyed away from, but now I'm finally realizing it's not a bad thing. On the inside, I want to be known as unselfish and a good friend, so I try my best to live my life that way. So when someone needs me, I am there - I drop everything - no questions asked.
