What does beauty mean to you? The desire to relate to another's feelings. Crying when someone you've never met is hurting. Seeing the good before all else. Knowing that there are always two sides to a story. Family. Treating every living thing just as you wish to be treated. Without expectations. Believing in the benefit of doubt. The look on your Mothers face when she sees you walk in. The memory that rushes into your soul when you hear "that" song. Knowing loss and pain but living your life with deep appreciation and a genuine smile. Dancing with my Daddy. Forgiveness. Working everyday to be the best that you can be. Inspiring others.
What children's movie character did you always want to be? I always wanted to be Cinderella. She had such faith in romance and a love for animals (and amazing shoes.) Despite her difficult life, she always managed to stay positive and sing!
What is your favorite thing about Fort Worth? Fort Worth has been my home away from hometown (Weatherford, TX) for many years now. I've been drawn to the city lights since my first trip to Hulen Mall when I was 11. The music scene in Fort Worth is my true love. My family has kept my heart saturated with many nights sitting around the dinner table listening to my Daddy pick the guitar and all of my brothers and sisters singing along. I followed that sound to the many Fort Worth patios featuring my favorite artists! I love FORT WORTH!
What do you consider your best feature or characteristic? I don't know how to answer that. I have learned that compassion and empathy are characteristics that I am most drawn to in others. So I hope that my best characteristic would be of that nature. I believe that the one rule that could change the world is The Golden Rule. "Do unto others..." I hope that is the legacy that I leave.
