Pantone has recently released its color of the year for 2015, Marsala. Described as "a naturally robust and earthy wine red," Marsala can be used as a subtle undertone or a bold statement color.
I'm extremely excited to embrace this hue in fashion, but in home design I don't see myself going overboard. We don't want to date ourselves back into the 90's with maroon walls and forest green accents, now do we? No, instead I see Marsala being paired with neutrals like bright whites, creamy beiges, and maybe even a fun pop of color like a mint green or coral pink.
So what do you think of the 2015 "color of the year?" Will you embrace it or pass on the trend?
