Sherry Ratliff always bakes extra Mini Yeast Rolls so she can create these yummy sandwiches for breakfast the next morning. She says they are best if the onion is sliced paper-thin and the cheese is only slightly melted.
Leftover dinner rolls
Thinly sliced onion
Cooked bacon, crumbled
Shredded cheese, such as cheddar, Swiss or Gouda
1. Slice dinner rolls. Place the bottom slices on a baking sheet and top with onion, bacon and cheese.
2. Place under broiler for one minute or until cheese begins to melt. Remove from broiler and pop on the tops. Serve immediately.
